Another amazing round of models, makeup artists, hair stylists, interns (and a lone, talented photographer) making our photo shoot simply phenomenal.   We had some late Fall pieces and  Holiday frocks that had just arrived and we were anxious to get them on the site.

We started with this fun, party-ready frock by Mark and James by Badgley Mischka, which seemed to put all the models in a playful mood.

We also invited Colleen Carlisle out to model for us. Colleen supplies us with her gorgeous Stella & Dot collection for the shoots, (she’s a rep) and she also writes for a great blog: We had such a blast shooting with Colleen – she has a wicked sense of humour and a constant smile.  Here she is in our black and gold metallic crew neck mini by Adam.

Even one of Colleen’s gorgeous children got bit with the modeling bug.  She’s a natural.

And it wasn’t just Colleen’s little girl that got in on the action.  Lisa’s good friend, Marianne, came by with her family and her daugher, Ava, ended up not only in front of the camera, but starting a little dance party.

As always, we seem to be very lucky in finding extremely talented makeup artists.  Mandee Roth,, is one such artist with a real knack for pulling a look together.  Here she is putting a smoky eye on Zlatina, followed by the gorgeous final result.

We also had the opportunity to work with a new makeup artist, Aisha Chacha, who has her own cosmetic line, Chacha Cosmetics,  She even stepped in to model for a couple shots (so easy when she can do her own makeup).

Our very generous shoe sponsor, Town Shoes, gave us the latest and greatest of their collection.

One colour trend Town Shoes has a nice variety in is red/wine shades.  We loved this burgundy suede pair from Calvin Klein and they paired beautifully with this David Meister plum dress with bell sleeves.

Our uber-photographer, David Cyr,, caught four of our models all wearing the same, stunning Tracy Reese copper sequin shift dress.

We love how it looks great on all of their different skin tones.

Once again Jillian Wood of loaned us some gorgeous pieces for the shoot. We love how this muff (which also doubles as a purse – so clever!!) adds to the already vintage feel of this Camilla and Marc.

We got so much response from posting the outtakes that we had to do it again. We adore our models – they are supportive, kind, funny, smart and beautiful (inside and out). So a big thanks to them for being so amazing! For links to models’ websites, please visit:
