Description: The RfR Stylist will provide outstanding customer service to RfR members through private fitting appointments, phone consultations, Skype consultations, follow-up and outreach and may attend business development events to network and outreach. Each interaction with customers will end in wowing the customer and making her a raving RfR fan. RfR Stylists are responsible for driving and growing their own group of loyal, satisfied clientele by building strong relationships. The ideal candidate is cool under pressure, does not show frustration when resisted, is customer-centric, pro-active, fosters productivity and is a talented problem solver.

Stylist Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service to all RfR Members in every interaction, whether it be in person, over the phone or via email.
  • Will exude the RfR brand by being approachable, knowledgeable, and has an attitude of service and a desire to delight the customer by being relentless in exceeding customer expectations. You should be a customer HERO.
  • Provide proper and customized follow-up with all RfR Members who have attended a private fitting.
  • Demonstrate product and service expertise and use this expertise to increase sales, taking advantage of every opportunity to increase sales and inspire customer loyalty.
  • Grow and drive your own, loyal clientele through follow-up, outreach, booking appointments and asking for referrals.
  • Achieve appointment booking, order, average shopping cart, close-rate, referrals and other goals/KPIs.
  • Confirm next day private fitting appointments.
  • Assist customers in finding the best dress for their body shape, event and preferences.
  • Provide accessory styling assistance by pairing dresses with accessories in the showroom.
  • Promote RfR programs during appointments, such as 2nd Style for $35, Rent the Dress – Donate the Rest, and Bridal Programs.
  • Participate in RfR Private Fitting Parties.
  • Ensures the same dress isn’t worn to an event by reviewing and updating dress lists & product reports.
  • Stays current on industry trends through workshops, online training, etc.
  • Has a keen understanding of what silhouettes work best for each body type, colour theory, and special event dress codes and shares this information with the client.
  • Assist with styling at photo shoots and fashion shows.
  • Participate in events in conjunction with the Business Development department.
  • Be an actively contributing team member; communicate effectively and collaborate to foster a strong team environment.
  • Lead by example for other stylists by consistently encouraging salesmanship and productivity.
  • All other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Proven track record of sales or styling ability, retail experience a plus
  • Experience doing clientelling; outreach and follow-up
  • Flexible, must be able to work evenings and weekends and be there when needed
  • Needs to be comfortable with technology and the use of online systems
  • Hours may range from 5 to 30 hours per week, occasionally going to 40 hours during peak seasons.
  • Must love dogs and have the ability to master some type of chocolate dessert
  • Must participate in spontaneous dance parties
  • Must be generally awesome
