EVENTS COORDINATOR

Rent frock repeat (RfR) is an ecommerce collaborative consumption company where women, from across Canada, can rent designer dresses straight off the fashion runways for up to 90% off the retail price. With over 75,000 members and growing, Rent frock Repeat is looking for an Event Coordinator to join their team!

Do you love attending and coordinating events? Do you love being at the centre of all the action? Then we’d love to have you work for us! We’re looking for an Event and Business Development Coordinator to assist our Business Development Rep with the planning and attendance of events that help promote our services. This role is a great way to get experience and exposure into the retail and fashion world.                                                                            

Description: 

You will be paid $13/hour and will be required on a needs basis.

As an Events and Business Development Coordinator for RfR you will not only receive training in the logistics and preparation of events but also gain a range of experience in business development, fashion, and entrepreneurship.

Some Of Your Tasks May Include: 

  • Attending an average of 2 events per month. Could be more on a needs basis.
  • Preparation for events: picking out dresses from our showroom, getting all necessary materials ready, transporting inventory to the event, and putting inventory back at the end of the event.
  • Prospecting events
  • Assisting our BD rep with executing partnerships
  • All other duties, as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators/Objectives::

  • Inventory is prepared a minimum of 1 hour before the event and all processes have been accounted for 100%. (Adhere to checklist)
  • Timely accurate reports. On time reporting, and 100% accuracy rate.
  • 3 new prospects brought to BD Director on a monthly basis from the events that you attend
