Our Toronto RfR team had a chance to get all dolled up for a two-day photoshoot session with the amazing portrait & wedding photographer, Carole B. Eves. Before getting all glitzed up, all of our ladies headed to the RfR closet in search of the perfect dress and accessories. After finding their keepers, they met with the glam squad, Brushes & Blushes, Euphoria, and Angela Shaw, for their full beauty makeovers!

RfR stylist, Callie, shares her photoshoot highlights with us and explains how she decided on her designer looks…

RfR: What were some of the highlights from your photoshoot and how did the overall experience make you feel?

It was so fun to get to relax and have some fun with the team! We got to get all glammed up and have all the attention on us.

RfR: What made you choose your dresses, and in what way did the hair and makeup compliment the look?

I chose outfits that I felt suited my body shape, as I am pretty short and curvy. I wanted two completely different looks, one more fun and bright, and one more toned down and soft. The makeup for the bright one was fun and accentuated with a bright lip and the second look we toned it down with a nude lip.

RfR: What would be the perfect event(s) to wear these dresses to?

The Monique Lhuillier Sleeveless Capri Lipstick Dress is a great dress for a fun night with the girls or a summer wedding. The Floral Print High Low Skirt Noir by Sachin and Babi is a great look for a daytime event.

RfR: What body type would work perfectly for each of your dress choices?

The lipstick dress is best suited for a pear or hourglass shaped woman. It works with curves! This skirt is a great option for someone looking to show off a small waist and hide the problem areas.

A special thank you to Renata Pollock for all the beautiful behind-the-scenes action shots! See more stunning photos from Callie’s shoot here.
