Finding Your Perfect Size

  • How do I know which size to order?

    Be sure to measure yourself, read the details in the "Finding Your Perfect Fit" description for each frock, and review our measuring guide, and sizing chart. We have tried to be as detailed as possible but if you are still unsure after reading all the fit details please contact one of our stylists. They have detailed knowledge about every dress in the RfR closet. You can also book a free, private fitting ,phone or Skype consultation.


    Of course, if you are in the Toronto or Ottawa area you are welcome to come in for a private fitting by emailing us at info@rentfrockrepeat.com . Not in Toronto or Ottawa? Don't fret, we offer phone and Skype consultations and have had great success with getting the sizes just right! You can also email us at info@rentfrockrepeat.com to set those up as well.

  • What if I receive a dress but it doesn’t fit?

    We ask that you try on the dress as soon as it arrives. (Which is another good reason to have the dress delivered a couple days before your event!) If neither of the sizes you ordered fit, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours) and our stylists will be able to ask you some detailed questions and we can immediately send you another dress, based on your information. We will not charge you for the replacement dress, simply for shipping costs, as long as your original order is put back in the mail within 24 hours.

  • Can I try on a dress before my event date?

    RfR members living in, or visiting, in the GTA or Ottawa area may book a free private fitting appointment to come try on dresses or, alternatively, book a free private fitting party for 8 to 10 friends. For more information or to book an appointment, email rsvp@rentfrockrepeat.com.


    Rest assured, our sizing details and backup size take the worry out of the rental process. From time to time, RfR may have Trunk Shows to introduce our latest styles. If you are a member, you will receive invites from us to attend these events where you can try the dresses on. Currently, RfR Trunk Shows are only available in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Ottawa, but may be coming soon to a city near you. Stay tuned, and register now to get in on the fun!

  • How do I ensure that I find a dress that fits?

    Book a showroom fitting appointment, phone consultation or SKYPE consultation. Booking a consultation with a stylist is a great way to find the perfect frocks. Our stylists are trained on every dress and can suggest the best frock for your event and body type. Simply book your appointment online.


    Get out the measuring tape and compare it to our measuring guide. When you register, we ask that you enter your measurements so that you can compare them with our sizing chart. We've tried to make our sizing chart as detailed as possible so you can make an assured sizing choice.


    Our Finding Your Perfect Size tab is a must-read! We try to be as specific as possible with regards to how a dress fits. Each dress that comes in is tried on by multiple sizes and shapes so that we can be very detailed with descriptions.


    Read the reviews. Look for reviews by women of similar height, body type and weight (if they have shared that information). This is a great way to know what to expect. If you have rented a dress from us, write a review! Share your experience with others so they can find the best size.


    Use our stylists. Our stylists live and breathe the RfR inventory. They know these frocks literally inside and out. They'll help you find the most flattering style, fit and size.


    Get peace of mind. You can choose a backup size in the same dress−for only $10. Just in case your original size isn't your perfect fit.

  • What if the dress still doesn't fit?

    We ask that you try on the dress as soon as it arrives. (Another good reason to have the dress delivered a couple days before your event!) If neither of the sizes you ordered fit, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours) and our stylists will be able to ask you some detailed questions--and we can instantly send you another dress, based on your information.   We will not charge you for the replacement dress, simply for shipping costs, as long as your original order is put back in the mail within 24 hours. If you do not want a replacement dress, we will refund the cost of your rental less shipping and applicable taxes.

  • What is a backup size?

    A backup size is peace of mind. With every dress rental, you have the option to order that same dress in a different size, for only $10. For instance, if you are usually a size 4, but the Finding Your Perfect Fit Tab suggests it is a more generous cut, you may want to also order a size 2.


    If the backup size you requested is not available, we will send another dress, similar to the one you rented in the secondary size choice.
